If you want to earn top dollar as a travel nurse you should get ready for one of our California Fast Start assignments. These assignments offer pay rates of several dollars more per hour versus our standard travel opportunities and include up to a $3,000 bonus for RNs completing their first 13-week assignment with Tailored Healthcare Staffing.

To be eligible for submittal to one of these opportunities you must have nearly all of your documents on file with us as you will be required to start the assignment shortly after your clinical interview.

To be eligible for one of these assignment you must have:

• A current California license in good standing
• BLS certification -- Some specialties require ACLS and/or PALS
• At least one year of recent experience in the unit to which you will be assigned
• At least four years of clinical nursing experience

Documents we must have on hand before we can submit you include:

• A professional resume
• A completed THS application
• Two professional references
• Completed Skills Checklists: (1) A general checklist for nursing; and (2) a checklist for the unit specialty
• Completed Nursing Competency Testing: (1) A general test for nursing; and (2) a test for your specialty
• Copies of your drivers license 
• Copies of your California license
• Copies of your certifications
• Drug screen authorization form
• Background check authorization form
• Medical records release statement
• Various medical verifications for HepB, Mumps, Rubella, etc.
